The Past 3 Months

In the past three months, I've made some pretty huge changes. I moved 2 states away from home, started grad school, started a graduate assistantship, made new friends, kept some old friends, rekindled an old flame and adopted a cat named Ginger. I haven't had much time to eat, sleep, breathe or blog to say the least. It seems like I've made it through a lot recently. I am convinced that I could command an army or at the very least, manage a small country.

Judge for yourself, here are some things I've made it through in the past 3 months:

1. Assisting the SEC Sorority Recruitment Process.
2. One week = One case of Diet Coke. 'nough said.
3. My first drug bust as an administrator.
4. Realizing I can't be my students' best friend.
5. Realizing that I have to be the bad guy right now to be the good guy in the end by enforcing the rules fairly and consistently.
6. Crisis calls on the duty phone.
7. Learning what it means to be intentional.
8. Finding my voice after losing it in the chaos of HESA and an office short 2 pro staff members.
9. Dance Marathon's retreat to Camp Cherokee - "even Pocahontas wouldn't stay here."
10. Realizing that I love my job and wouldn't give it up for the world.

Call me crazy.
